UrgiKids is a pediatric urgent care clinic seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Provider to join our team of pediatric specialists. Position details:
- Solo coverage of up to a 12-hour shift in a fast-paced urgent care environment
- Premium rate for Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience
- Flexible scheduling for work-life balance
- Assessment and treatment of a wide variety of pediatric sick visits for acute illness, including respiratory distress from croup or asthma, anaphylaxis and allergic reactions, febrile illness, and more
- Assessment and treatment of acute injuries, including wound repair or splint placement
- Performing urgent care procedures, completing the preliminary read of x-rays, followed by radiologist report

Qualifications:
- Clinical expertise in Pediatric outpatient medicine
- State medical license in Tennessee with DEA licensure
- Clear, professional communication with the care team
- Directing clinic flow with efficiency
- Competency in urgent care procedures, such as laceration repair with sutures, staples, or tissue glue, foreign body removal, incision and drainage of abscess, nail injuries, EKG reading
- Adaptability for patient needs that arise and flexibility in fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and attitude of helpfulness toward other team members
- Demonstrate professional and friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of evidence-based pediatric care and current clinical guidelines
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Utilizing electronic medical records effectively and completing tasks in the expected timeframe
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
