The University of Rhode Island Foundation & Alumni Engagement (URIFAE) is seeking a dedicated and professional Program Manager, Alumni Engagement to help build meaningful connections with alumni, students, parents, and friends of the University.


Position Overview:

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement, this role plays a vital part in the development, marketing, implementation, and evaluation of programs and initiatives designed to enhance alumni engagement and support the mission of URIFAE.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute signature events such as Homecoming Weekend, 50th Reunion, regional networks, Young Alumni Council, and the 10 Under 10 Awards.
  • Set goals, manage budgets, and oversee event logistics, including day-of execution and post-event processes.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with a diverse group of volunteers, ensuring proper placement in engagement opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and campus partners to support alumni engagement programs.
  • Partner with the communications team to develop marketing strategies and materials for various engagement opportunities.
  • Assist with data updates and collaborate on long- and short-term goals for strategic planning.
  • Represent URIFAE at local, regional, and national alumni outreach events.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree and/or at least 3 years of experience in alumni engagement or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); database management experience is preferred.


Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $55,000–$60,000, based on experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, generous paid time off, and retirement savings programs.
  • Hybrid Schedule: Three days in-office and two days remote
