Accounting Manager

URM Stores, Inc. is currently looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about all things Accounting to join our team as our next amazing Accounting Manager!!! Our Accounting Manager position, must be self-motivated, enjoy working with a collaborative team, and be solution oriented. Reporting to the Controller, this position provides direction and oversight to an accounting team consisting of A/R and general accounting team members. In addition, the successful candidate will understand and apply accounting principles, be familiar with computerized accounting systems, and can define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Establish Internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
• Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Presents recommendations to management on short-and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decision, and contract negotiations.
• Handling the company’s transactions and debts and doing cash flow forecasting.
• Creating financial reports based on data analysis.
• Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives.

• Qualified candidates will possess managerial experience in leading an accounting team.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational / time management skills.
• Proven analytical ability, problem solving skills and data driven decision making capability.
• Must be detail oriented, work well under pressure, and can work well with a variety of people and departments.
• NetSuite experience preferred.

Education & Experience:

• BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience working in the industry or public accounting with working knowledge familiarity of month end closing process and financial reporting.
