Your Day to Day:

• Supervise and motivate 6-8 outside sales consultants.
• Train sales and closing techniques.
• Monitor sales team members gross margins, sales volume, and new account solicitations.
• Responsible for:
  • Customer Relations.
  • New item presentations to customers.
  • Report analysis to use in developing business.
  • Price management for their District.
  • Keeping Sales Reps aware of market conditions.
  • Responsible for District sales growth and profitability.
  • Setting annual obtainable sales goals.
• Required to meet annual sales and margin goals for district.
• Solicit strategic new business and call on existing key accounts.
• Develop strong working relationships with manufactures and vendors.
• Make occasional will calls and cover vacation relief for sales routes.

Required Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years’ Foodservice sales experience or 3 plus years’ of other mid-level food manufacture or Food Broker sales experience a must.
• Proven supervisory skills managing a team.
• Ability to work Independently while setting your own schedule.
• Successfully able to develop and maintain productive relationships with customers as well as colleagues and your team.
• Basic computer knowledge including Excel and Power Point.
• Analytical abilities – Knowledge of statement analysis and commodity model forecasts
• Developed interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with all parties involved with our business.
• Proven ability to plan, organize, multi-task, set priorities effectively and efficiently to proactively respond to changing demands.
• Demonstrated strong negotiation, and presentation skills a must.
• Strong business math, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

• An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.  Salary range is $80,000 - $92,000 a year DOE, plus so much more!
