Job Summary
The Senior Director of Medical Affairs will provide urologic expertise to inform Medical Affairs activities for UroGen’s products and disease areas of interest, including UGN-102/non-muscle invasive bladder cancer and UGN-101 (Jelmyto)/upper tract urothelial carcinoma, as well as other products and disease areas as appropriate, under the supervision of the VP, Medical Affairs. This position will provide operational and strategic leadership and support to execute Medical Affairs goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop medical affairs strategy and tactics and ensure these are aligned with company objectives and cross-functionally.
- Plan and execute medical affairs activities including conference planning, advisory boards, publication planning, field force training, creation and review of standard response letters, HEOR analysis, review of promotional materials and marketing initiatives, and LCM planning.
- Collaborate with the Medical Science Liaison Team including developing and ensuring alignment in medical education activities, presentations, trainings to enhance disease state and product knowledge, and participation in medical/payer meetings.
- Identify, develop and maintain relationships with KOLs within the Urologic Oncology space.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with individuals across the organization including cross functional teams (including Commercial, Market Access, Sales, Clinical Development, and R&D) to represent Medical Affairs strategy and tactics.
- Identify data gaps and propose solutions to address and resolve these needs.
- Participate in the IIS process and Medical Education Grant review process
- Ensure that all activities and interactions comply with UroGen’s guidances, policies and procedures.
List of qualifications:
- MD or DO board certified in urology, required. Fellowship in urologic oncology preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of Medical Affairs experience, preferably within Urology and Oncology
- Highly collaborative and engaged
- Proactive, hands-on team player
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Salary : $240,000 - $260,000
