That is why a number of our physicians spend their time on a number of worthy causes from providing healthcare to the less privileged in third world countries to researching and teaching new urologic and oncologic therapies that could benefit the many.

Duties and responsibilities:
1. Using the patient collections module, contact all patients with outstanding balances between 30 and 90 days old. Obtain payment, implement a payment plan or refer the patient to the collections agency by 90 days.
2. Serve as the liaison between UAMPA and the collections agency, providing patient lists and needed information to them for collections purposes.
3. Post all patient payments that arrive though the mail.
4. Research billing inquiries on behalf of patients, determine the plan of action and follow through or direct to the appropriate employee to resolve.
5. Complete closing reconciliation form daily.
6. Answer phone in a timely manner and document all pertinent patient conversations.
7. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the UAMPA management team.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
1. GED required
2. 3 years of relevant experience required
Job Requirements:
1. Employee must be able to communicate clearly with patients.
2. Employee must be able to keep an organized workflow and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time.
3. Employee must be able to be active and mobile for an eight hour period.
