Urology Associates, P.C., Nashville TN is seeking a self-motivated, positive, friendly face to greet our patients at the front desk. Interested candidates for the Front Office Coordinator position should be able to multi-task with a smile. This is a busy medical practice with a high volume of patients. Candidates should be able to keep up in a fast-paced job environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Welcome patients
- Answer phones
- Check and sort faxes
- Obtain insurance and personal patient information and update the computer system
- Collect copayments and balances due
- Obtain current and future patient records
- Prepare medical charts
- Acquire insurance referrals
- Scan documents to medical records
- Reconcile daily batches - make deposit slips, maintain change and log everything daily
Education:
- A high school degree or GED is required for this position
Experience/Skills:
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, keyboarding, cash handling/making change.
- AllScripts PM and EHR systems along with a ShoreTel phone system, is a plus but not required.
- Microsoft Office Suite: 1 year (Preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
