General Job Description
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Operations Support Analyst will assist with the coordination of multiple projects to include, but not limited to, credentialing, marketing, human resources, compliance, risk management, facility & staff onboarding, data analysis, and IT in support of the day-to-day operational needs of the organization. Responsible for process improvement and execution of goals in support of providing service excellence. Will work with senior staff providing support and insight into a variety of projects and initiatives.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with Physicians/Practices through consistent and effective interaction and support regarding a variety of operational issues.
- Represents organization as both advocate and liaison between clinics, physicians, staff and administration.
- Project management from initial assessment, planning, execution and reporting of multiple simultaneous projects that align with the organization’s performance goals.
- Responsible for field visits to clinics to assess and address needs, as well as regular interaction with executive leaders and service line administrators.
- Coordinates timely follow up back to practices to communicate issue resolution.
- Participates in strategic planning and identification of strategic initiatives to achieve organizational growth through utilization of data analytic tools.
- Analyze business operations and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement process enhancements to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational projects and initiatives.
- Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Utilize data visualization tools to present findings and support decision-making.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends.
- Support automation efforts to improve operational efficiency.
- Works cohesively with leadership and internal service line administrators to drive and sustain growth in procedural services aligned with the organization’s business plans.
- Assists with coordinating and performing assessments of the business via observation, data analytics, metric trends, financials, best practice measures, policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines to identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Other administrative duties as assigned to include call schedule maintenance and management, hospital consult charge management and new employee on-boarding.
- Supports and upholds established policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control, and codes and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
- Participates in professional development efforts to align with current healthcare trends and practices.
- Maintains accuracy and productivity levels as established by department standards.
- Performs, organizes and streamlines operational tasks to reduce the potential for errors.
- Maintains patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
- Travels as required.
- All other duties as assigned by Director of Operations Support or COO.
