Job Title: Control Automation Engineer/Technician
Location: Cleveland, MS Onsite (Cleanroom Environment PPE including hairnets, suits, and foot covers required)
Experience: 2 years in PLC troubleshooting/programming (Allen Bradley preferred) Education: 2-year or 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot highly automated equipment in a cleanroom setting.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with Allen Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000, Logix 500), FactoryTalk, and related control systems.
- Perform validation, calibration, and minor updates to PLC programs (no extensive coding, but adding/modifying components as needed).
- Work with electromechanical systems, sensors, HMIs, and other industrial automation components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
- Adhere to strict cleanroom protocols (PPE, gowning procedures).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 years of hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (Rockwell experience acceptable, but Allen Bradley is critical).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining PLC-controlled machinery.
- Familiarity with Studio 5000, Logix 500, and FactoryTalk View.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills for electrical/control system issues.
- Experience in cleanroom or high-regulation environments (e.g., Pharma, Semiconductor, Food & Bev) is a plus.
