We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead Web Development to drive the development of scalable, high-performance web applications and CMS solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WordPress, PHP, React, and Drupal, along with strong leadership skills to guide a team of developers, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of web developers in designing and developing cutting-edge web applications.
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance web solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices for CMS and front-end development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Development & Implementation:
- Develop and maintain websites and web applications using WordPress, PHP, React, Drupal, and other relevant frameworks.
- Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
- Optimize web performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Collaboration & Project Management:
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to define project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities.
- Oversee project timelines, task assignments, and development roadmaps.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
CMS Development & Customization:
- Develop and customize WordPress and Drupal themes, plugins, and modules.
- Implement API integrations, third-party services, and custom functionalities.
- Ensure seamless CMS migrations, upgrades, and security patches.
Front-end & UI Development:
- Build dynamic, responsive, and interactive web applications using React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind/Bootstrap.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first design principles.
- Work on RESTful APIs and integrate back-end services with front-end applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, React, and Drupal.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6 ), HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.).
- Experience in custom WordPress theme/plugin development and Drupal module development.
- Proficiency in MySQL, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
