- Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Benefits & Recruiting Administrator. The Benefits & Recruiting Administrator will be responsible for retirement benefits administration for the 401(k) plan and the employee stock ownership plan as well as providing hiring support. The position is not remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana.
- Primary job duties include:
- Retirement Benefits Administration: Working in conjunction with Senior Plan Administrators, carries-out or facilitates the completion of day-to-day functions of Urschel 401K and ESOP retirement plans, endeavoring to maintain ERISA compliance and enable the successful operation of both Plans.
- Hiring Support: Assists Talent Acquisition Specialist to implement recruiting & hiring programs, with heavy focus on interviewing of internal and external candidates.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of an associate’s degree in business related field, bachelor’s preferred. Experience providing lead administrative support services to IRS qualified retirement plans. Working knowledge of retirement plan legal requirements. Previous ERISA experience required. Excellent written, verbal, and organizational talents. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Proficient in Microsoft applications.
