Job Description:

After the initial requirements are established, the BA will manage requirements specifications, verify fulfillment, and oversee enhancements post-implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews with customers and elicit detailed system requirements
• Create well-structured system requirements documents
• Collaborate with teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Improve business processes and optimize software workflows
• Develop user stories and use cases following industry best practices
• Design mockups and wireframes in accordance with UX best practices
• Facilitate strong communication among stakeholders
• Organize and document requirements efficiently

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience:

10 years: Eliciting requirements, writing system requirement documents
10 years: Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
10 years: Business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement
10 years: Developing user stories and use cases
8 years: Designing mockups/wireframes (UX best practices)
5 years: Strong communication and facilitation skills
5 years: Excellent writing and organizational skills

Preferred Skills & Experience:

3 years: Experience using Modern Requirements (Requirements Management Software)
3 years: Experience using Atlassian Jira (Issue Tracking Software)
2 years: Experience working with TEA or another state/local education agency
