Field Supervisor
General Work Schedule :
This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend (Saturday) and / or on call work. May work beyond a standard fulltime schedule including the number of hours and days worked per week and requires willingness to work evenings and holidays based on business needs.
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
The Field Supervisor leads and motivates a team of technicians to meet productivity targets, ensure quality control and safety compliance, and maintain proper truck equipment and supplies. They work closely with the Production Coordinator to revise schedules and communicate with the Field Supervisor on department needs. The Field Supervisor coaches technicians on policies, procedures, and best practices to improve sales and safety, while monitoring job performance and scheduling work assignments based on customer demand and technician availability. They also resolve customer complaints and maintain accurate job records. The Field Supervisor reports regularly to the Field Supervisor on team performance, job status, resource needs, and vehicle inspections, identifying opportunities to improve sales and customer satisfaction. Finally, they implement and enforce company policies and participate in meetings with management to review departmental needs and progress, while filling in for technicians as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Lead and motivate the field team to meet productivity targets, including holding daily huddles with assigned technicians.
Conduct regular job site visits to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and proper truck equipment and supplies.
Work with the Production Coordinator to revise schedules and communicate daily with the Field Supervisor on department needs.
Train and coach technicians on policies, procedures, and best practices to improve sales and safety
Job Description / Position Summary :
Monitor job performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Schedule and coordinate work assignments based on customer demand and technician availability.
Resolve customer complaints and issues during jobs.
Maintain accurate job progress, material, and labor records.
Report regularly to the Field Supervisor on team performance, job status, resource needs, and vehicle inspections.
Verify truck equipment and supplies through vehicle load and appearance inspections.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, standards, and OSHA requirements by conducting regular safety audits.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services to customers to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Participate in weekly and bi-weekly meetings with management to review departmental needs, progress, and improvement opportunities.
Provide performance coaching and regular reviews to assigned technicians, with an emphasis on development and improvement.
Fill in for technicians as needed, based on schedule availability and taking into account any call-offs, vacations, or other absences. Additional Requirements :

WORK SCHEDULE
In general, a Field Supervisors work week consists of five weekdays with the addition of on-call and weekend (Saturday) availability.
Field Supervisors routinely work forty hours (40), and sometimes more, hours per week based on business, staffing and customer needs.
Field Supervisors are expected to be regularly involved in daily departure and return of technicians as well as working some evenings and holidays as required by staffing and business needs. Travel is required.
Periodically, Field Supervisors may find it necessary to arrange their schedule to fill staffing gaps due to technician absences, scheduled Paid Time-Off, special / promotional events or other business demands.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Field Supervisors generally work in a multitude of environments including office spaces, warehouse environment, and on-site with technicians and customers. The working environment involves the use of office equipment, such as computers and telephones, machinery / mechanical equipment, ladders and heavy equipment (forklift). Exposure to moderate noise, outdoor elements (heat and cold) and airborne particles
