RATE RANGE: $25/hr-$30/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following outlines the essential functions of the Logistics Coordinator role. Management may assign or reassign duties as necessary.
Fulfilment & Logistics:
- Enter and fulfill daily orders.
- Track orders and maintain freight records; handle disputes as needed.
- Update internal inventory trackers and assist with monitoring inventory levels.
- Engage in daily communication with warehouse locations and monitor email correspondence.
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, variances, and damages.
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and issues related to orders.
- Assist in preparing logistics and inventory reports (e.g., freight cost analysis).
- Support month-end reconciliations to ensure accurate order recording.
- Accurately process customer orders, including data entry into relevant portals.
- Communicate with freight providers to trace and track shipments.
- Prepare necessary shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips, invoices).
- Proactively address product or service issues with relevant departments.
- Verify data against source documents and organize paperwork accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in logistics, operations, or transportation preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; detail-oriented.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good judgment and ability to make prompt decisions.
- Creative and adaptable team player.
- Commitment to high standards and excellence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills required.
- Experience with NetSuite preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant shipping and transportation regulations preferred.
