Our client a Fortune 500 Software Organization is seeking a SRE DevOps Engineer to bring onto the team.
Duties :
Manage public cloud infrastructure, preferably on Azure or AWS.
Demonstrate proficiency with CI / CD systems such as ArgoCD to streamline deployment processes.
Set up robust disaster recovery plans to ensure service and resource resilience.
Configure observability dashboards and alerts using Azure Data Explorer and KQL.
Establish secure cloud connectivity and safeguard sensitive data with strong cloud security expertise.
utomate performance testing workflows, including load, stress, and chaos testing, using tools like Jenkins.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform to support regional expansion and migration initiatives.
Manage recurring compliance, TechGRC, and security concerns in collaboration with internal IT teams.
Operate and manage secrets management tools, such as HashiCorp Vault, to maintain secure application environments.
Qualifications :
Cloud Infrastructure Expertise : Proficient in managing public cloud environments, with a preference for Azure or AWS platforms.
Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) : Skilled in utilizing CI / CD tools like ArgoCD to streamline software delivery pipelines.
Disaster Recovery Planning : Capable of designing and implementing disaster recovery strategies to ensure service and resource resilience.
Observability and Monitoring : Experienced in Azure Data Explorer and proficient in crafting KQL queries to configure observability dashboards and alerts.
Cloud Security Leadership : Strong knowledge of cloud security principles to establish secure and robust cloud connectivity.
Performance Testing Automation : Adept at implementing and automating performance testing workflows (e.g., load, stress, and chaos testing) using tools like Jenkins.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Skilled in managing infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, including regional expansion and migration initiatives.
Compliance and Security Support : Responsible for addressing recurring TechGRC, security, and compliance concerns in collaboration with
Secrets Management : Experienced in operating and managing secrets management tools, with a preference for HashiCorp Vault.
Programming Expertise : Ability to write effective Python scripts for advanced and customer-specific testing, automation, report generation, and ad-hoc log cleanup / formatting.
