JOB TITLE : Motion Graphic Designer
LOCATION : Burlingame, CA (onsite)
DURATION : 12 month contract (chance of extension)
PAY RANGE : $66 - $77 / hr.
TOP 3 SKILLS :
- 5-7 years of experience with motion design, animation, graphic design (big tech industry highly preferred)
- must have a portfolio that reflects the last two years modern, mix of film and automation, mostly motion graphics / animation is okay
- Ai image generation, anything in VR

Summary :
As a Motion Graphic Designer you will be responsible for creating animated troubleshooting videos for our customers globally. You will work closely with the Customer Insights Content Producer to produce, animate and edit videos for distribution on
Help Center,Quest YouTube, and other applicable social channels.The right fit for this role is a creative team player who has a deep understanding of new user experiences in the AR / VR space, possesses the technical skills required to bring ideas through concept to production, and (at times) is comfortable leading projects and driving reviews with our partners. This is a Contract position based in our Sunnyvale location, reporting into the AR / VR Digital Support Solutions team.
Qualifications and Experiences :
BA / BS or BFA / MFA degree in motion design, animation, graphic design, or relevant experience.At least 5 years professional experience producing high-end creative work.Skilled in Adobe CC with expert knowledge of After Effects, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Figma, and Premiere.Deep understanding of Cinema The Client and various render engines (Redshift, Octane, etc).Experience running and leading end to end 3D and 2D production workflows and strong accuracy in assessing project turnaround time.Well-rounded and strong conceptual designer - who is also very proficient with motion design, typography, color theory, illustration, photography, and layout.Design experience working with rapid conceptualization and delivery times.Passion for branding.Communicate progress to plan on projects on a regular basis, ensuring that team members are kept up to date on the health and status of the project.Ability to clearly articulate design rationale and present design work.Self motivated with the ability to move fast, and ingest feedback and apply it to evergreen projects effectively while maintaining plan of recordMust Haves :
5-7 years of experience with motion design, animation, graphic designExperienced communicator with the experience presenting to leadership about technical details in a simple-to-understand way.Demonstrated experience documenting processes and policies to ensure safe and reliable content.Nice to have :
