- Flexible Pre-Set Schedule: You’ll set your availability before the season begins. However, once your schedule is set, it remains consistent throughout the summer.
- Ongoing Lesson Assignments: Our scheduling team will add new swim lessons to your existing schedule as they are booked throughout the season. Since many families prefer the same day and time each week, we need instructors who can commit to a consistent schedule.
- Competitive Pay: Get paid for travel time between lessons.
- Support & Training: Paid training, mileage reimbursement, and Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR certification for the right candidates.
- Work Smarter, Not Harder: Unlike other swim schools, we ensure you're never in the water for more than 1.5 hours at a time—because your energy matters!
Your Role:
- Teach Swim Lessons: Provide safe, engaging, and structured swim lessons using urSwim’s curriculum.
- Create a 5-Star Experience: Make each lesson fun, educational, and memorable for your students.
- Ensure Safety: Maintain a high level of awareness and enforce pool safety rules at all times.
- Track Progress: Evaluate swimmers, provide feedback, and keep parents updated.
- Commit to a Steady Schedule: Families rely on a predictable swim schedule. Instructors must be able to honor their set availability throughout the season and adapt to additional lessons assigned during open time slots.
- Represent urSwim: Wear your uniform, communicate professionally, and always provide top-tier customer service.
Who We're Looking For:

Requirements:
- Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid Certifications (or willing to obtain).
- Reliable transportation – You’ll be traveling between client homes.
- Strong communication skills – You’ll be working with kids and parents.
- Self-motivated & responsible – We trust our instructors to show up, work hard, and deliver excellence.
- Commitment to Schedule Consistency – Once you set your schedule for the season, families will rely on you to maintain it.
- Leadership skills – You’re confident, positive, and can take charge in a lesson.

Must be available at least 24 hours per week (full-time preferred).
