What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at URUS Group?
Our team at URUS Group requires a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to drive corporate financial analysis, reporting and budgeting/forecasting efforts.
The successful candidate will lead in financial analysis and planning, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, KPI reporting, margin analysis, actual vs. budget & prior-year financial variance evaluation, Trans Ova Genetics & URUS (parent company) corporate reporting, cash flow management, and location/department P&L review & analysis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial & production results compared to budget/forecast and prior year results.
- Conduct deep dives into particular expense or revenue lines to understand their drivers and potential levers to enhance financial performance.
- Work with Controllers and CFO to evaluate and enhance reporting processes and implement financial/accounting system best practices.
- Explore and develop opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digitization.
- Develop impactful, compelling presentation materials that effectively communicate financial projections, drivers, business performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Take a leadership role in promoting, instituting, and teaching financial discipline across all facets of the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with MBA/CPA (preferred) or the equivalent education/experience
- ~8 years previous work experience and proven success in financial leadership, planning & execution
- ~ Very strong analytical, financial, writing & presentation development skills
- Experience with short & long-term planning and execution skills
- Strong computer skills including ERP systems and Microsoft office
