As a Senior Product Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead and own the strategic vision for Premise, Cloud, and various Mobile-based applications. You will play a pivotal role in achieving client satisfaction, improving software usability and achievement of organizational goals. As a key player in our industry, your contribution will help farmers and producers across the globe monitor herd data and contribute to better cows for a better world!
This strategic position requires a high degree of specialization in cloud software platforms, agriculture, and leadership expertise. In this role, the candidate must possess the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams across various domains, including engineering, product, strategy, sales, support, marketing, and finance, with the primary objective to provide farmers with best-in-class software.
The ability to coach, guide, and support other Product Managers will be crucial as you will have a team of Junior Product Managers reporting in.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define the vision and value-based roadmap for cloud-based herd management software.
- Collaborate with stakeholders globally to enhance product competitiveness.
- Monitor, analyze, and provide insight into competitive activity, customer, and market trends.
- Work with Marketing and Sales to develop and implement strategic GTM plans for market penetration and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with other Product Managers to prioritize work and strategize on future product innovations.
- Work directly with farmers on a regular basis to conduct industry research that guides product development and innovation and helps drive VAS business strategy.
- Promote product adoption in collaboration with portfolio companies within URUS (VAS' holding company).
- Assist the Junior Product Managers in gathering well-defined requirements for new product development that embody the voice of the customer.
- Guide the Junior Product Managers when working with Product Owners to refine requirements and user stories as needed.
- Coach and support the Junior Product Managers to perform their daily activities and grow in their careers.
- Perform reviews for your Junior Product Management team to give feedback and guide their behavior in the organization.
