Job Description
As the Training Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing training programs to ensure employees receive the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing training materials, scheduling sessions, and supporting trainers to ensure seamless execution of training initiatives. Additionally, you will assist in developing eLearning content, ensuring digital training materials are engaging, interactive, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about employee development.
Responsibilities :
eLearning Content Development
- Design and development of interactive eLearning modules, courses, and training materials.
- Utilize eLearning course authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) to create engaging digital learning experiences
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to convert instructor-led training into digital learning formats
- Continuously analyze and refine eLearning content based on learner feedback, performance analytics, and emerging industry trends
Training Program Coordination & Administration :
Schedule and coordinate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and development programsManage training calendars and ensure timely communication with participants, their managers, and trainers related to enrollments, pre-training instructions, travel, post-training surveys, etc.Maintain accurate records, attendance tracking, and completion reports.Organize training materials, presentations, and other resources needed for training sessions.Assist with setup of in-person sessions and virtual events, including reserving venues, arranging technology, and managingDistribute training materials and follow-up resources to participants.Ensure all logistics, such as equipment, supplies, and accommodations, are ready for training events.Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), and relevant course content and monitor engagementLead LMS administration, including course uploads, user accounts, and system configurations.Troubleshoot LMS issues, provide technical support to users, and liaise with the LMS vendor as needed.Track and report training completion rates, participation metrics, and other relevant data.Create and maintain training calendars, program schedules, and online learning paths within the LMS.Data Management and Reporting :
Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant data, and program evaluations.Generate and share regular reports on training progress, attendance, and effectiveness.Assist in analyzing training feedback and program performance metrics to support continuous improvement.Collaboration and Communication :
Act as a point of contact for training-related inquiries and communicate updates to participants, their managers, facilitators, and trainers.Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth program execution.Assist in the creation of communications and promotional materials for training initiatives.Create, collect, and distribute surveys and feedback from participants to measure training effectiveness.Program Development Support :
Assist in developing training materials, presentations, and e-learning content.Support the integration of instructional design principles into program development.Best Practice and Compliance :
Stay informed about trends in learning technologies and recommend enhancements to training delivery.Ensure training programs and processes comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Ag Communications, Education, Organizational Development or a related field. Ag and bovine experience and background are preferred.5 years of experience in training coordination, LMS administration, or similar role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual training platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).Strong proficiency in managing and administering Learning Management Systems (e.g., Litmos)Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively support facilitators, participants, and stakeholders.Strong skills in layout and design for communication, presentation, and learning materials.Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining training records and generating reports.Familiarity with adult learning principles, instructional design concepts, and e-learning technologies.Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and adapt to new technologies.Experience working in a collaborative team environment and building positive relationships across functions.About Us
