US Air Conditioning Distributors is seeking a driven and motivated sales professional to join our team in Salt Lake City, focusing on our growing business with existing customers and developing new business in the commercial/applied equipment sector. This position will involve application engineering and equipment sales with consulting engineers, contractors, and end users. Interested candidates should be excited to work in a results-driven and fast-paced environment.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Provide integrated application engineering and design support for a wide range of commercial HVAC applications with the goal of providing sustainable products and the latest technologies designed to meet the customers’ needs
- Work directly with engineers, contractors, and building owners
- Perform job take-offs, estimating, proposal generation, application engineering, and outside customer calls
- Provide presentations, quotes, submittals, technical product support, job site visits, and firsthand troubleshooting as needed
- Educate and promote products and equipment represented by US Air Conditioning Distributors to customers through conference calls, meetings, presentations, lunch & learn sessions, and product demos
- Research and develop new business opportunities within prevalent vertical markets
- Become active in important professional organizations such as ASHRAE, USGBC, BOMA, and IFMA
- Success strongly related to providing excellent customer service and willingness to go beyond to serve the customer
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, construction, or other engineering disciplines
- 1-5 years sales experience
