Senior Director of Engineering Services - Charlotte, NC!
As our Senior Director of Engineering Services, you will lead regional engineering operations for a global financial client, overseeing 472 diverse properties totaling 7.2 million sq. ft. across NC, SC, and TN. You'll manage a team of 6 direct reports while focusing on asset value preservation, operational efficiency, and technological innovation.
This strategic role involves self-delivery management of owned properties and regional support for all building engineering activities. The position offers a chance to significantly impact field operations, client satisfaction, and team performance in a dynamic, global environment.
Here is some of your day:
- Lead efficient operation and maintenance of all facility systems
- Mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams
- Collaborate with Workplace Operations Leaders and Chief Engineers
- Optimize engineering processes and procedures
- Oversee regional engineering compliance management
- Implement technological improvements for efficiency and sustainability
- Manage critical incident reporting and analysis
- Conduct data-driven decision-making across operations
- Coordinate with the account sourcing team for vendor management
- Prepare and present client meetings on Engineering and Technology activities
Here is who we are looking for:
- 8 years of experience managing large-scale high-rise buildings and complex facilities
- 5 years of experience leading and developing teams
- Extensive portfolio management experience (financial centers and retail facilities (e.g., restaurants, banks) highly desired
- Strong Engineering background with technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, generators, UPS) and Building Management Systems.
- Proven track record in process improvement, innovation, and understanding financial impacts in building operations
- Experience with reliability-based maintenance and OSHA compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with a calm and even-tempered approach to management
Pay $110,000 -150,000 with a 20% targeted bonus of the annual salary
