Facilities Technician, Entry-Level
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are eager to learn about building maintenance. As an Entry-Level Facilities Technician, you'll be part of a team responsible for maintaining and improving our building's functionality, appearance, and safety. We value a positive attitude and willingness to learn over extensive experience.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Assisting with basic building repairs and maintenance tasks
- Helping with painting interior and exterior surfaces
- Performing simple plumbing tasks, such as unclogging drains
- Changing light bulbs and assisting with basic electrical work under supervision
- Moving furniture and equipment as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Learning to use various tools and equipment safely
- Assisting experienced technicians with more complex tasks
- Responding to and completing work orders in a timely manner
Desired experience and technical skills -
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Basic computer skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use ladders safely
