The IFM Director is accountable for developing and implementing a comprehensive Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) strategy that delights our clients and ensures long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. This role anticipates client needs, delivers exceptional performance against key indicators, and builds financial plans to exceed revenue and profitability targets. The IFM Director creates and leads high-performing teams, fostering operational excellence while keeping employees engaged and thriving. Working closely with the Work Dynamics leadership team, the IFM Director aligns the firm's strategy and goals with business opportunities in the IFM space.
What is your day to day?
- Client Satisfaction and Relationship Management
- Establish a visionary IFM strategy that aligns with client objectives and interests
- Drive the implementation of IFM solutions that consistently exceed client expectations
- Become a trusted advisor and industry thought leader in IFM best practices
- Identify opportunities for account growth and articulate the value proposition of expanded IFM services
- Team Leadership and Development
- Build and nurture high-performing IFM teams across multiple client accounts
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in the IFM field
- Conduct thorough assessments of direct reports and create actionable career development plans
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the IFM teams
- Provide mentorship and coaching to elevate team performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Financial Management and Growth
- Oversee account financials to meet or exceed growth and profitability targets
- Expand IFM service offerings and geographical reach within existing client relationships
- Manage risk by maintaining healthy accounts receivable (A/R below 60 days payable)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IFM sector
- Innovation and Company Contribution
- Spearhead the development and implementation of innovative IFM practices
- Share best practices and innovations across the organization to elevate JLL's IFM offerings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to win new IFM contracts and expand service lines
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert on IFM trends and client needs
Required Experience and Technical Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 10-15 years of experience in Integrated Facilities Management or related industry
- Proven track record of leading large-scale IFM programs for major clients
- Strong financial acumen and experience in managing complex budgets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
