The Senior Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems. This role is the next step in the career path from Operating Engineer.
You will work as part of an engineering team of 2 at a 3-building office complex totaling 285,000 square feet.
Schedule : Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
Compensation : $27-30 / hour
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to : painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting system bulbs / ballasts (as allowed by any licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, locksmith work and general maintenance
- Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests
- Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks
- Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)
- Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls
- Comply with all safety procedures
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
- Other projects and tasks to be assigned
