We are recruiting for GS-346-07 Full Performance GS-346-11.

This position is located in the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, SAMD Organization, Aviation Division on Redstone Arsenal, AL.

This is a job solicitation for Recent Graduates. Recent Grads are those candidates that graduated within the last 2 years with a Degree from an accredited school. In order to qualify, you must have graduated with a degree within the last 2 years and have a GPA of at least 3.0 or higher. You may also be found eligible if you are within 9 months of graduation with your degree with the full understanding that you will not receive a Firm Job Offer until you graduate with your degree.

This is a job solicitation for 30% or over disabled veterans. To be eligible you must send your resume. In order to qualify, you must be a Veteran that is not currently on Active Duty Orders and must have a VA Letter that states you are 30% or over disabled.

This is a developmental position re-engineered at less than the full performance level for recruitment and training purposes. The duties of the position are similar to those of the target grade GS-0346-11.

1 year trial/probationary period may be required.

You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.

This position requires a Secret Security Clearance.

Occasional Temporary duty travel is required. A significant portion of said travel will be OCONUS which may be on very short notice with the trips varying from one to fifteen days in duration. Accomplishment of work may require travel on flights that are long, confined, and restrictive as far as space and movement are concerned. Employee may be required to walk long distances, climb stairs, and carry files and documents weighing up to 10 pounds. Employee may be required to perform work in substandard workplace settings.

MAJOR DUTIES

Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD). As such, is responsible for the development, coordination, and control of assigned international logistics programs. Such programs provide for the sale of U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Systems to friendly foreign governments. Responsibility includes determining country unique system requirements; developing, justifying, and/or consolidating proposals for funding requirements, material requirements, schedules, training, procurement, production, and deployment, technical assistance documentation, etc.; presenting and clarifying proposals to hiqher authority and foreign customers; and implementation and financial budgetary execution of approved cases.

Pay: $52,030.00 - $100,898.00 per year
