Full Job Description
Duties
Plans, manages, directs, coordinates and supervises the functions, programs and activities of the division and performs delegated personnel management responsibilities.
Functions, programs and activities include but are not limited to Sports and Fitness, Arts and Crafts, Automotive Skills, Outdoor Recreation, Swimming Pool, Bowling, oversees Food and Beverage programs, and Golf course operations.
Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates community wide revenue generating programs.
Determines overall local policies for providing business and recreation services.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Conditions of Employment
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification / eligibility / background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
Progressively responsible experience performing related duties, which demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties of this position.
Experience in a supervisory capacity is mandatory.
Knowledge of the goals, concepts and techniques of a community activities program, including recreation, sports, entertainment and art, and of general management and business operations of various facilities is required.
Five years' experience in formulating and executing APF and NAF budgets is desirable.
Education
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
