Duties
- Performs work that requires full professional knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of librarianship.
- Select, organize, preserve, access, manage, and disseminate information associated with public/patron services including services for children and/or teens, technical services, and automation services.
- Provides all members of the Military Community with reference/research using text and online searching principles, reader's advisory/selective dissemination of information.
- Performs technical services functions including acquisitions, procurement, cataloging/classification, physical processing, and accountability of materials.
- Supervises assigned staff. Assists chief librarian in overall management of the library.

Qualifications
year of progressively responsible work experience is desired which showcases the ability to perform patron/public services, technical services, and/or
library automation service functions. Must be familiar with office software products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Must have the
ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Education
A master's degree in library science, information services, or information management from an accredited college or university.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
- This is a pay-banded position.
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). - Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
