Duties
- Under close supervision, performs a variety of simple, routine duties in a recreation or recreational sports program.
- Prepares sports and other recreational areas for games or events.
- May serve as a scorekeeper, game monitor, clock operator, or helper to coaches or recreation leaders.
- Duties may include setting up equipment such as soccer nets, game boards, or accessories such as bats, balls, or racquets; marking fields with flags or chalk lines; or assisting with participant check-in/registration.
- Performs other closely related duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2-16k.
- Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities
- Position, duty hours, location and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-15m., and a Childcare Tier 1 background investigation is required.
Qualifications
Each WPP position shall consist of a 12-week work/training term at a maximum of ten working/training hours per week. The rate of pay will be the lowest applicable hourly minimum wage in accordance with Federal, State, and/or local policy. Where no other minimum wage laws or policies apply, pay will be set at the lowest hourly rate for the applicable NF-01 pay band schedule. There will be four terms in a fiscal year for a total of 48 weeks. To maximize opportunities, those who have previously been employed under this program may not be selected for more than two consecutive terms.

When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
