What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisory Community Recreation Coordinator NF-04 position at US Army Installation Management Command?
Duties
- Serves as Director of the Recreation Branch. Devises, improvises, adapts various activities to fit conditions of soldier needs, funds, facilities, equipment and staffing.
- Within the established Business Recreation Division (BRD) policies and objectives, manages and develops plans for Recreational Program (ex, Leisure Travel, Special Events, BOSS, and Soldier Center).
- Develops, maintains, plans, and administers Recreation programs, activities, and facilities. Coordinates all recreation programs with other activities in the planning, use, administration of fees, facility usage, and program timing.
- Budgets for equipment, supplies, and services with appropriated (APF), nonappropriated (NAF), and other available funding needed to accomplish scheduled recreation activities.
- Provides guidance and leadership to all recreation branch staff. Evaluates the effectiveness of ongoing recreation programs from participant response, resources, expense, staff labor, and program objectives.

Qualifications

Highly Preferred Criteria:
1. At least 1 year of experience working with MWR MIS Systems (ex: RecTrac, MTP) at the Managerial or Supervisory level.
2. At least 1 year of Supervisory experience in MWR Leisure Travel / Information, Tickets, and Travel Programs.
3. At least 1 year of experience as an MWR BOSS Advisor.

- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
- This is a pay-banded position.
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). - Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
