What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nurse Midwife position at US Army Medical Department (AMEDD)?
As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you’ll provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. As a member of the Army Nurse Corps, you’ll monitor pregnancy progress by listening to fetal heartbeat, taking measurements, and estimating fetal size and weight to assure a healthy birth. You will also provide low-risk full-scope gynecological and obstetric health care to females of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with an additional capability to serve in surgical first-assist roles.
