As a Supply Chain Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the successful operation of Army logistics by overseeing and ensuring the proper management of all supplies and equipment. Your responsibilities will include receiving, inspecting, inventorying, loading, unloading, and securely storing various supplies and equipment. You will also be tasked with safeguarding weapons and ammunition in designated security areas, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
This position offers an opportunity to develop essential skills in Record Keeping, Stocking & Storage, and Weapons Operations, and you could earn up to 9 nationally recognized certifications!
Key Responsibilities :
- Load and Unload : Participate in the physical movement of supplies, equipment, and ammunition.
- Inventory Control : Monitor and manage supplies to ensure they are readily available when needed.
- Security Areas : Protect and control weapons and ammunition in secured locations.
- Supply Documents : Maintain and update essential supply documents, including the Property Book.
