US Brick has a current vacancy to join our diverse and dynamic company as a Grinding Room Operator. This role will report directly to the Grinding Supervisor.
What you will be doing:
- Run and monitor Grinding Department machinery and conveyors
- Sweep and clean work area, empty hoppers, run forklift, paint as needed,
- Run heavy equipment- loader, backhoe, forklift
- Actively participate in all safety programs and training including lock out | tag out
- Identify areas of spillage and dust emission so that we can work to lower silica exposure in department
- Cross training in this department is required
- Follow all safety, quality, production, environmental policy, and procedures
- Be a good team member, assisting others as needed in a helpful way
Contribute to team effort by performing other assigned duties as needed
