Summary of Position:
The Hardware & Electrical Engineer will support the current product line and contribute to the development of next-generation embedded and electro-mechanical systems. The role focuses on PCB design, power management, sensor integration, and system validation. Responsibilities include working on high-reliability electronics designed for industrial and aerospace applications, ensuring robust performance in challenging operational environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design PCBs for low-power embedded systems
- Develop power-efficient circuits for sensor-driven applications
- Select and integrate microcontrollers, RF modules, and sensors
- Conduct bench testing and validation for electronic hardware
- Support hardware bring-up and debugging using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Assist in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing with embedded engineers
- Support scalability of PCB manufacturing and hardware production
- Create test fixtures and validation tools for high-volume manufacturing
- Work closely with embedded and mechanical engineers to refine product designs
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for EMI/EMC performance
- Maintain compliance documentation for hardware integration
- All other duties as assigned
