What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Lending Associate II position at US CENTURY BANK?
Summary: The CLA II/Banking Officer assists in the assessment of management of the Bank’s commercial and real estate loan portfolios by providing administrative support to the commercial team/assigned loan officer(s). The CLA primarily responsibilities include tracking of annual reviews, loan renewals, BSA radars and exceptions, past due loans, technical exceptions and financial collection process related to the Bank’s commercial and real estate portfolios. Performs various duties pertinent to meeting the needs of our customers and development of new business.
Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide first-hand administrative support to their assigned Loan Officer(s).
- Tracks and monitors technical exception reports.
- Tracks and monitors past due loans, upcoming renewals, BSA radars and exceptions, and annual reviews.
- Manage and prioritize incoming telephone calls, resolves customer inquiries within prescribed authority, and when necessary, directing calls to the appropriate Loan Officer or department.
- Serve as liaison between Loan Officer, management, and clients to improve customer service and business productivity.
- Complete the BSA Due Diligence requirements for loans when required in accordance with the banks BSA Due Diligence policy.
- Assists the lender in the process of obtaining and/or reviewing 3rd party property reports such as Appraisals Reports, Environmental Reports, Property Condition Reports, and Plan and Cost Reviews
- Track, follow-up and resolve customer’s outstanding issues in a timely manner.
- In-depth knowledge of lending, compliance regulations and bank operations.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lending practices and requirements.
- Ability to analyze information, assess needs, and build rapport.
- Track, follow-up and resolve customer’s outstanding issues in a timely manner
- Familiarity with state and federal lending regulatory and compliance requirements.
- May perform site visits of new and existing loans.
