Position Overview:
The Microsoft 365 Engineer will understand the technology needs of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's Microsoft 365 environment. This includes Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams. The engineer will be hands-on, assessing, building, and improving upon the environment. The engineer will work closely with third-party managed service providers and Microsoft as well as all technologists. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain the organization’s Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Teams Phone system, Teams Room, and 365 Purview.
Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the Microsoft 365 environment.
Provide support and troubleshoot issues related to the Microsoft 365 environment.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and licenses.
Develop and maintain documentation for the Microsoft 365 environment.
Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement new features and enhancements.
Stay up to date with the latest developments in Microsoft 365 and related technologies.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with Microsoft 365.
Strong experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
Experience in vulnerability management.
Knowledge of GPO, DNS, and DHCP management.
Experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, and Entra ID Identity Protection.
Experience with MFA, SSO, SAML, and OAUTH. Ability to configure and manage DKIM, DMARC, and SPF records.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to quickly solve problems as they arise.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Willingness to work irregular hours as needed.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory is a plus
Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
Microsoft certification(s) is a plus.
The salary range for this position is $103,750.00 to $120,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits including healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
