Job Description
US Cotton LLC is seeking a Mechanical Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the plant, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and write legibly, with basic math skills, to meet company electrical test requirements.
- Maintain working knowledge of AC, electrical, mechanical, and construction skills for equipment, building, and grounds maintenance.
- Understand compressors and their operation to perform necessary maintenance.
- Familiarize yourself with the plant's electrical layout.
- Perform preventive maintenance across the plant, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in assigned work areas.
- Provide guidance during routine maintenance operations and be available for emergencies outside regular duty hours.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical equipment repair or a related field.
