What You'll Do:
- Vascular Testing: Performa a variety of non-invasive vascular diagnostic tests including ultrasound, doppler studies, and other specialized procedures.
- Data Acquisition & Analysis: Collect and analyze data from vascular tests, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot medical instrumentation, ensuring optimal performance.
- Patient Care: Provide compassionate and respectful care to Veterans during vascular testing procedures.
- Collaboration: Communication effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with VA policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy
- Ability to provide Doppler information of peripheral vessels, quantify carotid artery stenosis, plethysmographic tracing, velocity changes, and pressure gradients of vessels and grafts.
- Ability to perform intracranial (transcranial) vascular examinations.

- Vascular Sonographer Hourly Wage: $39.37 - $51.18 per hour
