Your Mission as a Healthcare Tech:

• Lead telehealth operations by coordinating virtual appointments, training staff on clinical video technology, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Empower Veterans through direct technical support, educating patients on remote monitoring tools, and assisting providers during telehealth sessions.
• Drive innovation by analyzing telehealth workflows, optimizing patient satisfaction, and supporting the VA’s Whole Health mission to prioritize holistic well-being.

Healthcare Technician Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in clinical/telehealth support, patient care coordination, healthcare technician, medical assistant, nursing assistant, or medical technology.

Healthcare Tech Salary & Benefits:

• Healthcare Tech Salary: Annual range of $40,332 – $58,445 per year
• Healthcare Technician Salary: Hourly range of $19.34 - $28.10 per hour
• Annual Salary Increases: 2% federal, 2% local, and promotional (on average)
• Retirement: Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) retirement (401k) with employer contributions
• Pension: Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) pension contributions
