Key Responsibilities:
- Protect civil rights of individuals on VA property
- Prevent, detect, and investigate crimes
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle
- Respond to and manage disturbances
- Execute search and seizure procedures
- Obtain warrants and make arrests when necessary
- Provide basic first aid and CPR in emergencies
- Prepare detailed activity reports
- Perform traffic control duties
- Assist citizens in emergency situations
