Job Summary: ENGINE CYLINDER HEAD REBUILD
The assembly of industrial & automotive diesel engine heads according to established procedure and instructions.
Essential Functions:
- Perform the assembly of industrial and automotive diesel engine heads while following all company instructions and guidelines.
- Use lift and hoist equipment to move engine cylinder heads and parts.
- Use care and attention when handling engine components.
- Skillfully use hand, air and electric power tools in the machining and assembly process, if applicable.
- Skillfully use tightening tools such as torque wrenches and power angle drivers, during the assembly process if applicable.
- Use typical measurement tools used in the assembly process such as: micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
- Maintain attention to detail, and quality under varying circumstances.
- Maintain neat, clean, and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience/Training/Education:
- Experience with Industrial and automotive engine heads and parts
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of and experience with industrial, automotive engine components.
- Knowledge of and experience with automotive machining such as: engine cylinder head resurfacing, is a plus
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry weights up to 50 lbs.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8-4:30 pm
