Are you a skilled technician with a passion for precision and problem-solving? We are seeking a Tool Room Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring die readiness for our die-cast operations, maintaining and repairing dies, trim dies, and fixtures. Position Scope:
As a Tool Room Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing production tools to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. You will work closely with production teams, use various machinery, and complete required documentation while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to and troubleshoot issues related to die cast and trim dies on the production floor.
- Service and repair die cast dies, trim dies, and fixtures using precision measuring tools.
- Operate machinery including drills, grinders, mills, lathes, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
- Perform welding tasks as needed.
- Maintain core and punch inventory.
- Assemble and disassemble production tooling.
- Clean and inspect tooling components for conformance to specifications.
- Prepare dies for production runs as per schedule.
- Hand finish components to meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace while adhering to safety standards.
- Adapt to job duty changes, including cross-training in other roles as needed.
- Complete daily paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Operate heavy equipment safely.
- Work overtime when required and be available for emergency overtime.

Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in essential duties and meet the following job requirements:
Certification, Education, and Work Experience:
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Journeyman Card preferred.
- Mill and lathe experience preferred.
- Ability to read technical blueprints preferred.
- Forklift, crane, and hoist experience required.
- Lockout/tagout experience required.
