Job Description: US Equipment Sales and Rental is looking for an experienced Aggregate Equipment Service Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a technician with a strong background in servicing and maintaining aggregate machinery such as crushers, screens, conveyors, and other heavy equipment used in mining, construction, and aggregate processing. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on aggregate processing equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and feeders.
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all types of aggregate machinery.
- Troubleshoot and identify problems in aggregate equipment and use diagnostic tools to determine the most effective repair solutions.
- Ensure that equipment is running efficiently and safely to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
- Maintain accurate service records, including details on repairs, inspections, and parts used.
- Collaborate with customers to discuss issues, offer advice on repairs, and provide updates on job status.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, equipment advancements, and service techniques.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in heavy equipment or aggregate machinery preferred.
- Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic, with experience specifically in servicing aggregate equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in aggregate machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Understanding of safety standards and regulations in the aggregate industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
