Job Summary:

The Scrub Tech will be responsible for preparing the operating room for surgery, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order. They will assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies, and maintaining a sterile field. The Scrub Tech will also be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing equipment and instruments after surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for surgery
• Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Maintain a sterile field
• Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments after surgery

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a surgical tech program
• Certification as a surgical tech
• Experience working as a scrub tech in a surgical setting
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
