US Farathane is seeking a Junior Account Manager for our GM Business Unit at our Corporate Tech Center in Auburn Hills, MI.
The Junior Account Manager will assist the sales team with all aspects of customer relations. Communication skills will be utilized to identify and address customer concerns while representing USF in a positive manner. Previous customer service experience is a must. This position will contribute to building profitable, long-term relationships to reach overall business objectives.
This position is fully onsite at our Tech Center in Auburn Hills, MI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather information on assigned customers (core products, needs and pricing plans).
- Contact customers to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan.
- Provide after-sales support to retain customers.
- Ensure prompt and accurate responses to customers’ queries.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular communication.
- Report on the status of accounts.
- Suggest company products/services that maximize customer satisfaction.
- Communicate product and pricing details clearly.
- Coordinate with Account Executives and Account Managers to create customized sales plans for key customers.
- Promote new products/services to existing customers.
- Assist Account Manager/Sr. Account Manager with daily commercial related tasks and technical reviews.
- Issue RFQ's for new business, EWO's CN's, Etc. to internal costing group.
- Support customer quote activity.
- Submit pricing to the customer for engineering change requests.
- Issue Notice of Authorization (NOA's) for given account.
- Develop relationships with key buyers within your account.
- Help ensure accuracy of sales forecast records for given account.
- Close out commercial issues with given customer.
- Self-educate regarding USF's products and processes.
- Manage piece price/tooling contracts for respective customer.
- Work with cross functional groups within US Farathane and customers.
- Maintain a positive can-do attitude and entrepreneurial approach
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or relevant field preferred
- Proven work experience as a Junior Account Manager or relevant sales role, preferably with GM experience and plastic injection molding
- Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
- Effective presentation and negotiation skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
