Container Lead Flow

Summary: The Container Flow Lead is responsible for monitoring container inventory levels and ensuring containers are properly stored and tracked throughout the logistics process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain container counts for container coordinator to update Parts system and customer portals

• Ensure production is using the correct packaging (boxes vs totes) during production runs across all shifts.

• Assist in keeping outside container storage areas organized.

• Maintain cardboard and pallet counts daily to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Coordinate with warehouse operations and resolving logistical challenges.

• Assist in keeping cardboard usage to a minimum and ensuring accurate inventory of all cardboard.

• Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety related rules and regulations Responsible to follow all USF policies and procedures

• Any other duties assigned by the reporting Supervisor and/or Manage

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Plastic Injection Molding background is helpful.

• Ability to work independently with self-direction once initially trained

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

• Ability to write simple correspondence.

• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.

• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
