What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor - 2nd Shift position at US Farathane?
US Farathane is seeking an experienced Quality Auditors on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for supporting the Quality System, including auditing in-process product per instructions, as well as all associated documentation and performing the duties of Receiving and Dock and Seatback areas auditing as needed.

Essential Functions:
- Perform in-process inspection and dock auditing as needed
- Perform in-process inspection of product to determine compliance to customer requirements
- Maintain variable charts per blueprint and/or customer requirements
- Monitor data received by sub-contractors for compliance to specifications as needed
- Assist in sort operations as needed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, etc.)
- Comply with all internal and OSHA required safety procedures
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards, inspection techniques, and simple measurement instrument usage
- Capable of performing Gage R&R and capability studies
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence, and to speak and present information effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to do simple math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and ability to add positive and negative numbers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
