This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
We have an opening for an experienced and dedicated Part-Time Every other weekend Medical Assistant to join the Ambulatory Surgery Center team at our Denver, CO office. The schedule is working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) starting at 6:30AM and typically ending by 11:30AM (or later depending on case volume).
Pay up to $24 per hour
How You'll Contribute:
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Medical Assistant is responsible for:
- Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedure
- Perform semen washes and sets up for IUIs
- Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance
- Assists with the clinical care of fertility patients
- Provides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
- Provides pre and post op education
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
- Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved
- Support and promote excellence in customer service
What You'll Bring:
The skills and education we need are:
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Background in women's health preferred
- Strong patient orientation and be a team player
- Professionalism and strong customer service skills is a must
- Completion of a formal MA program
