Nail Technician Position Overview:
The Salon Pedicurist is responsible for providing an exceptional pedicure experience for our patients, in terms of both the quality of care and the level of customer service. They keep the salon running smoothly on a daily basis.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
● Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, other employees, and the public
● 5 years of pedicurist experience
● Active pedicurist license from the designated state
● Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
● Must have excellent customer service skills
● Must have a team mentality, flexibility and willingness to learn
● Must be personable, dependable, and punctual
● The ability to uphold HIPAA compliance is mandatory.
● Technologically savvy and familiar with programs including:
- Google Documents
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
Nail Technician Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
● Ordering of supplies and new equipment as needed
● Ensuring salon(s) is(are) up to State Board standards
● Train new employees
● Ensure staff completes daily salon worksheets
● Runs monthly salon meetings
● Work directly with Office Manager for Employee Reviews
● Provide a quality pedicure experience while wearing a smile
● Treat patients with compassion and respect
● Sterilize all instruments after use
● Maintain the cleanliness of the salon
● Comply with all state salon guidelines
● Maintain cleaning logs and sanitation records
● Work cohesively with clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
● Scheduling appointments
● Entering salon worksheet information
● Maintain autoclave cleaning log
● Other duties as assigned
