What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Exercise Tech position at US Heart and Vascular?
US Heart and Vascular is in need of a full time Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at our Heartland practice in Wichita, KS.
Responsibilities
- Be independent and proactively manage the EMR across heart station, ultrasound, and nuclear departments to access staff and patient needs.
- Properly order all diagnostic testing within EMR.
- Hook up patients to heart monitors / stress testing while providing necessary instructions to the patient.
- Maintain testing rooms in all departments including but not limited to stocking linen, equipment, and supplies.
- Provide supervisor accurate and timely information regarding patient care issues that cause concern.
- Inform supervisor regarding needed repairs on departmental equipment.
- Ensure a high quality of service is provided to all Heartland Cardiology physicians and patients.
- Communicate problems and ideas to supervisor to improve clinical aspects and overall efficient functioning of the departments.
- Always maintain patient confidentiality.
- Other duties as requested or assigned.
